Gladwyne Civic Association Scholarship for 2016-2017

After a fantastic response to the previous Gladwyne Civic Scholarships, the Gladwyne Civic Association will again offer the scholarship for 2015-2016.

The scholarship is offered to incoming 11th and 12th grade high school students who reside in the Gladwyne Civic Association membership area. To see if you are in the GCA membership area - use this link.

The student must intend to pursue post high school education. The scholarship is to be applied to expenses for any post-high school education.

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage high school students to pursue their interest in civic responsibility, through attendance and involvement in current civic projects and issues in their community. The student will have the opportunity to meet civic leaders and elected officials.

There will be one scholarship of $1000.00 awarded to a currently enrolled student at a high school or equivalent. After applications are reviewed, one student will be chosen and notified in September. Mentoring will be provided by the Gladwyne Civic Association with student.

The student will complete the activity requirements as listed below. After completion the student will receive the scholarship in June.
